Invited by Professor Jinlong Yin, PhD Candidate Hyungjoon Kwon and Chanil Kim from Korea National Cancer Center and colleague, visited JCBI for academic discussion on 8th September. PhD Candidate Kwon presented a detailed introduction of the National Cancer Center of Korea, followed by in-depth conversion towards future academic collaborations. Demonstrations for “Targeted mouse brain” were performed by our visitors for all students and staff. Established in 2000, the National Cancer Center of Korea is one of the top five cancer specialist centers in the world and a central institution for cancer research and treatment in East Asia. Located in the outskirts of Seoul, the Center is the largest, most well-equipped and up-to-date cancer research, treatment, prevention and education institution in Asia.
