[2019-08-01]Dr. Rowan Radford from Macquarie University visited our center on 31st July and shared his valuable experience in confocal microscopy with us. Then, he conducted on-site operation and answered the questions raised by the teachers and students of our center patiently.

[2019-07-13]Dr. David Lovejoy visited JCBI on July 11. During this period, he had in-depth communication with teachers and students from JCBI and shared his years of research experience. Then, he visited the experiment and instrument platform of JCBI.
[2019-06-11]On 10th June, Dr. Marco Morsch, mid career neuroscientist and team leader at Macquarie University with a main focus on advancing understanding of neuronal communication and cell-cell interactions, visited the International Joint Centre for Biomedical Innovation and presented his research entitled “Confocal Microscopy - A practical guide”. A communal exchange of experiences and ideas were shared between Dr. Morsch and the academics, as well as students from JCBI. On-site operation and Q & As were presented by Dr. Morsch following the presentation. Travel Fellowship of the Internation Nano-Brain Academic Society was awarded to Dr. Morsch.

Executive committee of the symposium included Fellow of Chinese Academy of Science (FCAS), Prof. Ben Zhong Tang as president, Dean of School of Life Sciences, Prof. Yuchen Miao as executive chair.
